Introduction - Mama has programmed Red Stripes music platform for over 5 years now via the Red Stripe Music Awards and headline sponsorship of The Great Escape for the past 3 years.
RSMA - Every year (just before The Great Escape), Mama’s Mean Fiddler division programme and produce the Red Stripe Music Awards final. The final has taken place in Heaven & The HMV Forum with headliners including Gomez, Dirty Pretty Things & The View. Music industry professionals judge the finalists throughout the night. The winner goes onto play Lovebox and The Great Escape.
The Great Escape Festival - as headline sponsor Red Stripe’s logo has been incorporated into the main TGE logo to produce a joint logo and therefore RS has benefitted from all marketing communications (which has seen a yearly media reach of 35 million worldwide). Red Stripe has a strong presence at the festival and have taken over Concorde 2 (680 capacity) for the 3 days, performances on the Red Stripe stage have included Ellie Goulding, Marina & the Diamonds, Wild Beast & Vampire Weekend to name a few.
Listing - As a partner Red Stripe were able to secure a listing deal across the MAMA estate, which incorporates over 10 venues where Red Stripe is the beer of choice.
