CASE STUDY:

Relentless

Overview - MMS and Relentless are in year 3 of a 3 year deal including brand experiences at Lovebox and The Great Escape as well as a naming rights deal with the Garage in Islington now known as The Relentless Garage.

  • The Great Escape - Relentless sponsor the pop up Street Gigs at The Great Escape in Brighton. These gigs have taken place on the sea front, Jubilee Square, train station with the likes of Turbowolf, Midnight Beast & Fenech-Soler attracting hundreds of people via the TGE text message service and social networking sites, everyone is notified an hour before the gig. The deal also allows Relentless to sample at the Street Gigs and gains them access to the 34 venues involved in TGE to help secure listing deals.
  • Lovebox - The Relentless Energy Drink stage has become the dedicated dance area for the festival. Each year, Papa Projects and Lovebox build a bespoke area that has become a site hotspot and one of the most popular areas on site year on year. 2009 saw a dedicated dance arena that had show stopping pyrotechnic flame displays and 2010 saw a dramatic new stage façade that included world-class sets from headliners Booka Shade, Jesse Rose, Dixon and Crookers. The Relentless area had a unique “hidden door” entry system and the enclosed arena delivered an intense and exciting musical and visual experience, bringing a focussed and carefully selected programme of dance-music to Lovebox.
  • The Garage - the naming rights element has been instrumental in showcasing/endorsing Relentless’s music credentials over time. Relentless was heavily involved in the refurbishment of the venue. Relentless also hold monthly nights and an annual festival there. The venue logo incorporates the Relentless logo and is utilised on all marketing and promotional materials for over 600 gigs with an annual footfall of 200,000 music lovers.
